JABLOPCB partnered with KINALI to automate the testing of printed circuit board assemblies using the Test-it-off platform. The robotic workstation enables fully autonomous operation, ensuring objective quality evaluation and consistent results. Defective units are automatically sorted, and production data is recorded for precise performance tracking.
As a specialist in electronic manufacturing and PCBA production, JABLOPCB sought to increase the efficiency and reliability of its testing process. Manual testing required constant operator supervision and limited throughput. The company needed an automated solution that would integrate with existing ICT testing infrastructure and run independently of the main production line.
In collaboration with JABLOPCB’s engineering team, KINALI deployed the Test-it-off system tailored to handle bulk PCBAs supplied in KLT boxes. The solution was configured for autonomous off-the-line operation, maximizing productivity while reducing operator involvement.
The Test-it-off station at JABLOPCB automates every stage of the inspection process. The AUBO i5 collaborative robot uses a point-cloud based bin-picking system to locate and pick PCBAs from KLT boxes layer by layer. Each board is precisely loaded into the tester, which performs the required electrical measurements and communicates results back to the system.
Based on the test output, Test-it-off automatically sorts the boards into OK and NOK containers. Designed for offline operation, it works continuously without depending on assembly line cycles, effectively utilizing every available second of production time.
