Automated Testing Xpo 2026 confirmed growing industry interest in PCBA testing automation. KINALI presented Test-it-off and introduced the new PCB Compact Series, while discussions focused on reducing manual ICT/FCT handling without replacing existing test equipment.
The first Automated Testing Xpo brought together around 30 specialized companies in Fürstenfeldbruck, Germany, on 1 and 2 July 2026.
We would like to thank ATX Hardware, Markus Rauch, the organizing team, our fellow exhibitors and everyone who visited the event. The open exchange of technical knowledge created a valuable meeting point for companies involved in electronics testing and automation.
For KINALI, the event was an opportunity to present Test-it-off and introduce its new product line, the PCB Compact Series.
We had many productive conversations about the automation of ICT/FCT testing of PCBAs.
Many manufacturers already have suitable testers. However, operating fixtures and sorting OK/NOK results still often depend on qualified manual operators who are harder and harder to hire.
Test-it-off automates PCBA testing while allowing customers to keep their existing ICT/FCT test equipment. The discussions confirmed that Test-it-off is relevant not only for electronics manufacturers, but also as a partnership opportunity for tester and fixture manufacturers, distributors, solution integrators, test equipment companies, and automation partners.
The PCB Compact Series is a new standardized Test-it-off product line designed for compact and practical deployment.
It includes four configurations:
Each variant is designed for High-Mix, Low-Volume production and frequent product changes. Customers can retain their existing ICT/FCT testers, switch between PCBA types in around 10 minutes and introduce new products with a guided setup process in roughly 60 minutes.
Extended buffering can support up to eight hours of autonomous operation, while remote monitoring and alerts reduce the need for continuous supervision.
For industry partners, the new product line provides a practical portfolio extension. It can complement existing tester, fixture and automation projects for customers looking to reduce manual handling without replacing their established testing infrastructure.
Automated Testing Xpo demonstrated the value of bringing the specialized testing community together to exchange experience, compare approaches and explore future cooperation.
We look forward to continuing the discussions started in Fürstenfeldbruck.
